Return & Exchange Policy

1. Introduction
Seed Jewelry approaches the creation of every piece with the highest standards of craftsmanship. This Policy explains your options should circumstances arise after purchase.
This Policy applies to all purchases made through seedjewelry.com and from our Dubai showroom, and is issued in compliance with Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection (UAE).
2. Returns and Refunds
Every Seed Jewelry piece undergoes strict quality control before delivery. As permitted under UAE law, Seed Jewelry does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind. Returns and refunds are accepted exclusively where the item has a confirmed manufacturing (factory) defect or does not conform to the agreed specifications or the description provided by Seed Jewelry, in accordance with Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
Where such a defect or non-conformity is confirmed, you are entitled under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 to choose between: repair of the item free of charge, replacement with an identical or equivalent item, or a full refund of the price paid.
For purchases made through seedjewelry.com, and in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, you may also return an item which, upon delivery, is damaged, incomplete, or does not correspond to the description published on our website, or where a delay in delivery has made its use impossible. Such items must be returned unused (except to the extent necessary to verify the issue), with all original packaging, tags, and gemological certificates intact.
Where a refund is due: once we have received and verified the returned item, the refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that the time required for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider and is outside of Seed Jewelry's control. Typically, bank processing takes an additional 3–10 business days.
3. Exchange
An exchange is available in the following case:
- Manufacturing defect (factory defect) discovered within 14 days from the date of purchase — see our Warranty Policy for full details.
To initiate a return or exchange, contact us at office@seedjewelry.com within the applicable period, providing your name, order number, description of the issue, and supporting photographs.
4. Conditions for Return and Exchange Eligibility
An item is eligible for return or exchange only if:
- The claim is submitted within the applicable timeframe.
- The item has not been worn, altered, or repaired by a third party.
- All original packaging, tags, and gemological certificates are intact.
- The item does not show signs of mechanical damage, chemical exposure, or wear.
- The item was not made to individual (custom/bespoke) order.
- Where the item contains a certified diamond or gemstone, the stone must match the original gemological certificate (by certificate number, carat weight, colour, and clarity). Returns or exchanges will not be accepted where the stone does not correspond to the certificate on file with Seed Jewelry.
5. Return and Exchange Process
- Contact us at office@seedjewelry.com or visit our showroom at Dubai, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Cluster Y, JBC3, 2902 office.
- We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
- Return the item in its original packaging with all tags, certificates, and proof of purchase.
- Upon receipt and inspection we will confirm the outcome in writing.
6. Custom and Bespoke Orders
Items made to individual specification cannot be returned or exchanged, except where a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the applicable claim period.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for returning an item to Seed Jewelry are the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured method. Seed Jewelry is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
8. UAE Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you have under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection or, for online purchases, Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means. You may also submit a complaint to the UAE Ministry of Economy or the relevant Dubai consumer authority.
